I went back and forth on this for a while before buying. Reefers aren’t cheap, and with used units you never really know what you’re getting until it shows up.
First impression looks used, no surprise there. A few dents and wear on the exterior, but nothing that affects how it runs. What I was really concerned about was the cooling unit. Let it run for a full day just to be sure, and it held temp consistently, which gave me some confidence.
Delivery was okay, just took a bit of planning to get it positioned right. Not something you just drop anywhere and forget about.
I wouldn’t call it perfect, and I’m still keeping an eye on performance over time, but so far it’s been doing what I need. If you’re expecting like-new, you’ll be disappointed but if you understand what you’re buying, it’s a fair deal.

I had some doubts going into this, mainly because reefers can be hit or miss depending on how they were used before. Didn’t want to end up with a unit that looks fine but struggles to hold temp.
When it arrived, overall condition was better than I expected. It’s definitely not new some wear on the outside but the structure is solid. Fired up the unit and let it run for a while, and it actually held temperature pretty steady, which was the main thing I cared about.
Delivery took a bit of coordination just because of the size and hookups, but nothing out of the ordinary. Once it was in place, setup wasn’t too bad.
Still keeping an eye on it long term, but so far it’s doing what it’s supposed to. If you’re considering one, just go in knowing it’s used equipment but this one has been reliable up to now.
